Act One – The Waking Terror
Opening Hook: Phoebe has a disturbing premonition of a teenage girl (Nancy) screaming as razor claws slash through the walls around her bed. The scene morphs into a boiler room, and Phoebe wakes screaming.
The sisters discover several unexplained deaths in Springwood, Ohio — all with similar wounds and signs of severe night terrors.
Piper insists this isn’t their jurisdiction, but Prue argues that Phoebe’s vision means it is.
They use a location spell, which backfires spectacularly — pulling all three of them into the dream world for a moment. They see Freddy’s shadowy figure before being snapped back awake.

Act Two – Into Freddy’s Domain
They track down Nancy, who’s exhausted and terrified, already fighting to stay awake. At first, she doesn’t trust them — until Piper freezes a coffee cup mid-air to prove they can help.
Nancy explains Freddy’s history, but the sisters realize he’s more than a vengeful spirit — his power has grown from demonic sponsorship in the Netherworld, meaning vanquishing him will require both magical and mortal tactics.
The sisters agree to join Nancy in a coordinated “dream infiltration,” with Leo on standby in the waking world to try and revive them if needed.

Act Three – Battle in the Nightmare
Prue’s telekinesis works strangely in Freddy’s realm — she can manipulate dream objects like weapons, but Freddy warps them into grotesque forms.
Piper’s freezing power has limited effect, since Freddy can ""thaw"" through sheer will, but it buys them precious seconds.
Phoebe’s empathic abilities allow her to feel Freddy’s deepest rage and fear — she realizes that his new demonic ally is feeding on his kills to gain strength.
They use this knowledge to bait Freddy into a trap: conjuring a dream version of the demon, causing Freddy to lash out and weaken his own power.

As Freddy is weakened, Piper blows him up in a blaze of magical energy, forcing him out of the dream world temporarily.
