KASTNER MANSION
Abandoned KASTNER MANSION, Newark, New Jersey, USA
Constructed in 1892 for the German beer baron Franz Kastner, the house is a three-story, 32-room Chateauesque structure.
It remained a private residence until 1957, then it was converted to a casket factory. It more recently served as an Elks Lodge. It burned in 2019.
It is located on the main road between City Center and the Newark Airport, and there has been alot of interest in rebuilding into apartments or shops.
