A charming and rarely seen moment with Vivien Leigh during the filming of Gone with the Wind.

At first glance it almost looks like a scene from the movie, but look closer. The young girl appears to be holding a book while Vivien leans toward her, as though she’s signing an autograph.

Photos like this were sometimes taken when young visitors or fans were allowed onto the set during production. Moments like these captured the magic of meeting one of Hollywood’s brightest stars.

Imagine being a child in 1939 and receiving an autograph from Scarlett O’Hara herself.

Have any of you seen this photo before?
