The glowing arcs and rings


 The glowing arcs and rings form when light interacts with tiny ice crystals or water droplets in the atmosphere, bending and dispersing into precise angles. Storm clouds supply the structure and energy, while lightning reveals electrical charge separation inside the cloud. When these conditions align, the sky briefly displays rare optical and electrical phenomena—beautiful, short-lived, and entirely natural.
