6th Street Viaduct
One of the most iconic art deco structures in Los Angeles was the E. 6th Street Viaduct. Built in 1932, it was used in 29 films, 15 TV shows, 60 music videos, and innumerable car commercials. Because of a 70% chance of collapse during an earthquake it was demolished in 2016. Photos: Flickr. The designers were Merril Butler, Louis L. Huot, and Louis Blunt.
