A team of archaeologists has uncovered several decapitated skeletons dating from the third century AD at a Roman burial site. The heads of 11 of the 17 skeletons were found placed by their owners' feet. Evidence of both Roman and Iron Age settlement was found at the site, including pottery, coins and brooches. The excavation - undertaken in advance of a housing development at Wintringham, near
