Knight Rider

 April 4, 1986, the final episode of Knight Rider aired on NBC.

The series originally ran from September 26, 1982, to April 4, 1986, starring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a high-tech modern crime fighter assisted by an advanced, artificially intelligent and nearly indestructible car known as KITT.

The cast also included Edward Mulhare as Devon Miles, the head of the Foundation for Law and Government; Patricia McPherson as Bonnie Barstow, the chief technician; Rebecca Holden as April Curtis, another Foundation technician; and Peter Parros as Reginald Cornelius III, who later joined the team.

Conceived and produced by Glen A. Larson, the show was an instant hit and became one of the most iconic action series of the 1980s, blending crime drama with futuristic technology.
