Before I became a parent

Before I became a parent, I had so many ideas about how it would all go. I thought I knew what kind of mom I'd be, how l'd handle the hard moments, and what choices I'd make without a second thought.

But then they arrived. And everything changed.
Suddenly all those expectations felt small. Unimportant. What mattered was what worked for us. What felt right in the quiet moments no one else sees.
There is no one right way to parent. There is only your way.
If your child is loved, safe, and cared for, you're doing enough.
You're doing more than enough.
You're doing your best. And that is something to be proud of.
