Your kids won’t say

Your kids won’t say “thank you for the boundaries.”

They won’t understand the no.
The limits.
The doors you closed.

They might call you strict.

But one day they’ll walk away from disrespect.
They’ll recognize chaos.
They’ll choose steady love.

And they won’t connect it back to every boundary you held.

They’ll just know
what love is supposed to feel like.

Safe.
Calm.
Clear.

That was you.
