April is C section awareness

 April is C section awareness month so here is a reminder that getting a C-section is not the “easy way out.”

You get an epidural.
You get a catheter.
Your stomach is cut open.
Your organs are literally pulled out and put back in.

And you’re left with a scar.
A scar that reminds you every single day
of the strength it took
to bring your baby into this world.

There’s nothing easy about that.
It’s not weak.
It’s not the easy choice.

It’s brave.
It’s strong.
It’s love.
