Motherhood is mostly just figuring it out as you go
Motherhood is mostly just figuring it out as you go. It’s 90 percent acting like you know what you’re doing and 10 percent hoping no one sees how lost you really feel.
It’s second-guessing every choice. It’s lying awake at night replaying the day, wondering if you did enough, loved enough, were patient enough. But then those little hands reach for you. Those tiny eyes light up just because you walked into the room. They see you as their whole world. Their safe place. Their superhero.
And somehow that’s enough to quiet all the doubt. Enough to keep you moving forward, even on the days when it feels like you’re barely holding it together.
They don’t see your flaws. They just see their mom. And to them, that’s everything.
