I always say I’m not going to repeat myself

 I always say I’m not going to repeat myself.

But there I am, telling them again. And again.

Because that’s what moms do.
We repeat ourselves. We remind. We teach.

Even when it feels like no one is listening, we keep showing up.
With the same love, the same patience (even when it’s running low), and the same lessons on how to be kind, careful, brave.

It’s funny how we say we won’t say it twice, when in reality we’d say it a thousand times if it means they grow up feeling safe and loved.

So here’s to all the moms repeating themselves today.
You’re not failing.
You’re building little humans who will carry your words in their hearts forever.
