St Bartholomew’s Gatehouse, London . The earliest surviving timber framed facade in the City . It comprises a two-storey 16th century Tudor building with parts of the stonework and archway from the 13th century. It was the gatehouse to the Norman Priory church of St Bartholomew- the Great , founded in 1123.
