Greek Revival home

This Greek Revival home was built in 1834 in South Windsor, Connecticut. It was originally the home of Jonathan Cogswell, a teacher at the nearby Theological Institute of Connecticut. He moved to New Jersey in 1844, and sold the house to the school. It became the official residence of the school president until 1865, when the school relocated to Hartford. Today, the house is a private residence, and it is the only surviving building from the old Theological Institute. It is shown here in these two photos around the late 1930s and in 2017.
