Danielle Borino-Quinn, an actress whose authentic portrayal of Ginny Sacramoni in HBO’s acclaimed series “The Sopranos” captured the hearts of audiences and added depth to one of television’s most iconic shows. A graduate of West Essex High School, Borino-Quinn worked as a legal assistant in New Brunswick, New Jersey, before fate intervened: accompanying a childhood friend to an open casting call, she unexpectedly landed the role herself, turning Ginny Sack into a memorable character over the course of 17 episodes from 2001 to 2007.Her character’s struggles, including those explored in the standout 2002 episode centered on her ongoing difficulties, resonated with viewers, revealing Borino-Quinn’s remarkable ability to convey vulnerability and strength. Even as her fame grew, she remained grounded, continuing her work at a law firm in Bordentown. After her time on The Sopranos, she took steps to improve her health, including undergoing bariatric surgery.
