One afternoon at Halliwell Manor

"One afternoon at Halliwell Manor, Piper was cleaning the kitchen, Phoebe was reading, and Prue had just emerged from the dark room.

Suddenly, a letter fell from the fireplace, though the fire was still burning. There was no sender, no stamp.

Piper opened the letter, reading aloud:

“Bearers of light,
A stolen memory awaits retrieval.

Come to the place where sisterhood begins with tears.”

The three sisters looked at each other. Phoebe said softly:
— “Could it be where Mother died?”
Prue replied:
— “Or where she left us…”

They weren’t sure, but they understood that this was a serious call. Prue clasped their hands:
— “Whatever it is, we’ll go together.”

And so, they left home, taking magic… and sisterhood with them."
