Don’t forget Mother’s Day

 Don’t forget Mother’s Day…

Not because of the flowers.
Not because of the gifts.
Not even because of the pictures you’ll take.

Don’t forget it because there is a woman—
maybe it’s you, maybe it’s your mom, maybe it’s someone who stepped in—
who has given pieces of herself away
over and over and over again
and somehow still shows up with love.

Don’t forget the unseen things.
The late nights.
The early mornings.
The silent prayers whispered over sleeping babies.
The worry she carries that no one else hears.

Don’t forget the way she kept going
even when she was tired,
even when she was overwhelmed,
even when she didn’t feel like she was enough.

Because motherhood isn’t loud most of the time.
It’s quiet.
It’s steady.
It’s built in the small, ordinary moments
that end up shaping entire lives.

So don’t forget her.
Call her.
Hold her.
Thank her.

And if you are her—
don’t forget yourself either.

You are doing better than you think.
You are carrying more than anyone sees.
And what you are building… matters more than you know.
