When I became a mom

 When I became a mom, I wasn’t handed a rule book.

I was handed tiny hands that would shape my heart in ways I never imagined.

I was given noise, messes, belly laughs, and lessons I never knew I needed.
I was trusted with the honor of guiding a soul in this world.

Not to be perfect. Not to have it all together.
But to raise someone who is kind, gentle, and strong in their own way.

And even on the hardest days, I know this is the greatest purpose I’ve ever been given.
