Spoiled baby? Never heard of it

 Spoiled baby? Never heard of it 

People love to say you’ll spoil your baby if you hold them too much
If you comfort them too fast
If you respond every time they need you

But I don’t see a spoiled baby
I see a tiny human learning what love feels like
I see a nervous little body relaxing because I showed up again
I see trust forming in real time

Babies aren’t spoiled by affection
They’re strengthened by it
They grow confident when they know their safe place is always there

One day they won’t fit in your arms
One day they won’t want to be held as long
But right now they do
And that’s not spoiled
That’s connection
That’s bonding
That’s exactly what they’re supposed to feel

If loving my baby loudly and constantly is called spoiling
Then I guess I’m doing it right
