"Gang of Roses" (2003)
"Gang of Roses" (2003) is an independent Western movie written and directed by Jean-Claude La Marre. Nolbert Brown Jr. assisted with writing the screenplay. This movie was the third film that La Marre wrote, directed, and produced. The film features notable entertainers during the early 2000s, such as LisaRaye McCoy, Lil' Kim, Monica Calhoun, Stacey Dash, Marie Matiko, and Bobby Brown.
Other options exist if you want to see a masterpiece Western film. So don't expect "Buck and the Preacher" quality. "Gang of Roses" is low-budget entertainment. The acting could be better, and the story could be more compelling. However, the cinematography is excellent, and some of the action is entertaining. In addition, the soundtrack consists of hip-hop and RnB, which was music during the movie's release.
In hindsight, seeing some of these entertainers 20 years ago was cool.
