Val di Funes

Val di Funes (Villnößtal in German), simply called Funes, is a valley about 24 km long in South Tyrol, Italy. Administratively, it is mostly located in the municipality of Funes, orographically the left wings of the valley in the entrance area belong to Chiusa. Val di Funes is bordered by the Odle di Eores mountains to the north and the Odle group to the south. The highest parts of the valley are protected by the Puez-Odle Nature Reserve. Valle di Funes branches off from the central part of Valle Isarco in an easterly direction.
