Hell's Angels

"Hell's Angels" 1930 directed by Howard Hughes, Edmund Goulding, and James Whale, written by Harry Behn and Howard Estabrook.

Ben Lyon, James Hall, Jean Harlow John Darrow, Lucien Prival, Fred Clarke, Roy Wilson, Douglas Gilmore, Jane Winton, Evelyn Hall, William B. Davidson, Wyndham Standing, Lena Melana, Marian Marsh.
We first see Jean Harlow as Helen in three strip color. Greta Nissen was previously cast as Helen, but she was replaced by Harlow due to Nissen's Norwegian accent. Helen, Roy (James Hall), and Monty (Ben Lyon) are supposed to be British but none of them sound remotely English. Harlow, in particular, has a Midwestern twang, and she is not dressed in the style of the war, but she was young and beautiful. Here, Jean Harlow tells Ben Lyon to get out. The actress still has her own eyebrows.
