Phoebe and the Unspoken Choice

"Phoebe and the Unspoken Choice: Forgiving Cole

A year after Cole's death, Phoebe kept her wedding ring in a small wooden box, hidden in the back of her closet. One night, she dreamed of Cole standing in the light – not as the Devil, but as the man he had been.

In the dream, he said:

""You saved me – not by magic, but by daring to love a devil.""

Waking up, Phoebe wrote a letter that she never sent:

""I forgive you, Cole. Not because you deserve it. But because I need freedom from pain.""

She buried the letter and the ring in Halliwell's garden, where his spirit could quietly depart."
