 Alejandro Pedro " Alex " Montoya (October 19, 1907- September 25, 1970)

As a second role character or in small uncredited roles, Alex Montoya contributed to seventy-eight American films released between 1938 and 1968 , including westerns. His credits include "Fiesta" (1941), "Intrigue" (1947), "Ghost of Zorro" (1949), "Streets of Laredo" (1949), "Crisis" (1950), "Macao" (1952), "Back From Eternity" (1956), "The Magnificent Seven" (1960), and "The Flight of the Phoenix" (1965). His television roles include such shows as "Rawhide", "The Untouchables", "Bonanza", "Wagon Train", "The Rifleman", "Gunsmoke", "Perry Mason", "I Spy", and "The High Chaparral". Montoya was born in El Paso, Texas. He was the brother of actress Julia Montoya (1903-1991). He died on September 25, 1970 from heart disease in Los Angeles. He was 62 years old. Montoya is buried at Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles, California.
