"THE LUCK OF GINGER COFFEY" (1964)
SYNOPSIS: "James "Ginger" Coffey, an unemployed Irishman whose nickname stems from his red hair and mustache, moves his family to Montreal in hopes of finding work. He has trouble getting a job, until a friend helps him land a lowly position at a newspaper. Because of his poor prospects, his wife leaves him, taking their daughter with her. Ginger works at becoming a reporter to win back his wife and impress his daughter, but booze and brawling distract him from his goal."
