YOUNG WINSTON
"YOUNG WINSTON" (1972)
MY THOUGHTS: This was the first time I watched this film. Being a big fan of Anne Bancroft, I don't know why I hadn't seen it before. I'm glad I finally had a chance to do so. I thought she was wonderful in the role, which didn't surprise me. I enjoyed the film, as a whole, as well. It was a decent period piece and being a true story, and a part of history, it held my interest. The other members of the all-star cast, especially Simon Ward in the lead role, turned in good performances. I felt it was worth the watch.

His colorful, often controversial, reports make him a household name, aiding his passage into politics."
