 I’m bringing the 90s back for my kids this summer

Not with fancy vacations or packed schedules
But with bike rides until the streetlights come on
Sprinklers in the yard and popsicles that melt too fast

With muddy feet and wild imaginations
With friendship bracelets made under the sun
And movie nights that start with popcorn and end with pillow forts

I want their childhood to feel slow and magical
Like mine did
Before screens replaced scraped knees
And before every moment had to be planned or posted

This summer is about chasing fireflies
About building memories from the simplest things
Because that’s the stuff they’ll remember one day
The wild, messy, barefoot kind of magic
