I don’t nag my husband

I don’t nag my husband when he does chores the “wrong” way.

He folds towels differently. Loads the dishwasher in a way that makes me twitch a little. And somehow manages to forget the one thing I asked him to grab from the store.

But he also works hard. He fixes things I can’t. He’s patient when I’m not. And he shows up for our family every single day.

So no, I don’t correct him when he helps.
Because I’d rather have a partner who tries, than perfection done alone.

The effort matters more than the method.
