Raymond Burr
Canadian Screen Star Raymond Burr, pictured here in a scene where he plays “Harry Prebble” from Fritz Lang’s American Film Noir classic ‘The Blue Gardenia’ (1953), also starring Anne Baxter, Richard Conte, Ann Sothern, George Reeves, and also featuring Nat King Cole singing the title song composed by Bob Russell and Lester Lee ‘Blue Gardenia’ arranged by Nelson Riddle. And, of course, we also all remember Raymond Burr as the title characters on the television programmes ‘Perry Mason’ and ‘Ironside’. Remembering Raymond Burr on his birthday. He was born on this day, the 21st of May in 1917 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, and he passed away in his home in Healdsburg, California on the 12th of September in 1993.
