Federal-style house

This brick Federal-style house was built in 1813 as the home of Aaron Bissell, and it stands on Main Street in South Windsor, Connecticut. The first photo was taken around the late 1930s or early 1940s, and it also shows a nearly identical brick house further in the distance, which Bissell built for his daughter Sophia in 1812. Both houses are still standing today, and they are part of South Windsor's historic East Windsor Hill neighborhood.
