 My biggest goal as a mom?

It’s not just to raise good kids.
It’s to raise adults who still want me around even when they don’t need me anymore.

I want to be the one they call just because they miss the sound of my voice.
The one they come home to, not because they have to, but because it still feels like love here.
I want to be their safe place, always.

I want them to grow up and not have to spend years unlearning the way I loved them.
I want to be their peace.
Not their pain.
