Motherhood isn’t my excuse

 Motherhood isn’t my excuse.

It’s my reason.
It’s the reason I cry a little harder but love a little deeper.
It’s the reason I hold tiny hands and make silent promises in the dark.
It’s the reason I pick myself up when the world feels too heavy.
Motherhood opened my heart in ways I never knew were possible.
It made every fear feel bigger, but every joy feel even bigger too.
My babies are the reason I choose hope when everything feels hard.
They are the reason I keep believing in the beauty of this life.
Always.
