They always say

 They always say, “Enjoy every moment. It goes by so fast.”

So I did. I soaked in the snuggles, the giggles, the messy hands and tired eyes.
I stayed present. I cherished the chaos.
But what no one prepared me for was how it still slipped through my fingers.
Even when you’re doing your best to be fully there, time doesn’t slow down.
And that’s the hardest part.
You can do everything right, and it will still feel like it wasn’t long enough.
So if today feels long, hold on tighter. One day, you’ll wish you could live it all over again.
