 Extended rear facing is great.

But it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution.

I think we forget sometimes that behind every “choice” a mom makes is usually a lot of overthinking, guilt, and doing what works best for her family.

Yes rear face until at least two. Safety first, always.
But after that? It’s up to the parent.

Some kids cry until they make themselves sick.
Some get carsick every single ride.
Some scream so much you’re white-knuckling the steering wheel just trying to get home.

And some moms are driving alone with multiple kids, trying to keep everyone safe and sane.

It’s not always as simple as following a chart or a post you saw online.

So instead of judging the mom who turned her child forward-facing “too early,” maybe remember
she’s the one who knows her baby best.
And sometimes, survival and safety look different in every car.
