We don’t walk as far as we used to

We don’t walk as far as we used to… but somehow, every step feels deeper now.

When he was young, it was all about the chase — pulling the leash, racing ahead, exploring everything with that unstoppable joy.

Now the pace is slower. We stop often. He looks up at me, tail wagging softly, as if to say, “I’m still here.”

And I realize, the walk was never about the miles. It was about the moments — the quiet ones where love lingers between each breath.

These slower walks have become our most precious ones. Because love doesn’t fade with age… it simply learns to move gently. ❤️
