There’s no gold star for doing it all by yourself

There’s no gold star for doing it all by yourself.

No medal for being the most exhausted.
No trophy for pushing through when your body and mind are begging you to slow down.

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that being a “good mom” meant being a selfless mom.
That if we’re not bone tired, we must not be doing enough.

But that’s a lie.

It’s okay to say you’re overwhelmed.
It’s okay to admit this is hard.
It’s okay to ask for help without feeling like you’re failing.

You’re allowed to need a break.
You’re allowed to care for yourself too.
