I didn’t learn to be strong by chance

I didn’t learn to be strong by chance.

I learned it by watching the women who came before me.
I watched them carry burdens they never asked for, still showing up with softness and love.
I watched them break, gather their pieces, and stand back up without needing the world to clap for them.

They taught me that real strength isn’t loud.
It’s steady.
It’s the choice to keep loving when life tries to harden you.
It’s picking yourself up again and again, no matter how heavy it feels.

I am the woman I am because of them.
