It’s okay to rest during your period

 It’s okay to rest during your period.

Your body is doing so much more than you think.
Your hormones drop sharply.
Your uterus is literally shedding and repairing itself.
Your body is using extra energy to manage cramps, inflammation, and the shifts happening in your cycle.
It’s normal to feel tired. It’s biology, not laziness.

And you’re allowed to listen to that.
You’re allowed to slow down.
You’re allowed to take breaks without guilt.

Resting during your period isn’t a luxury.
It’s supporting a body that is working overtime on the inside.

So if you need to curl up, breathe deeper, move slower, or let a few things wait until tomorrow, do it.
Your body is speaking to you.
Let yourself answer it with kindness.
