Eastern Columbia building


The 13-storey Eastern Columbia building in downtown Los Angeles was designed by Claud Beelman and built in 1930.
Its bright "melting turquoise" terracotta tiles and four-sided clock tower, emblazoned with the word 'EASTERN' in bright white neon on each face, makes it one of Los Angeles' more distinctive buildings.
