Some days

Some days a mom can be at her lowest and no one would ever know.

She’ll smile, keep moving, keep doing what needs to be done… and when things fall apart, she just whispers to herself, “I’ll figure it out.”

And the thing is, she always does.
Not because she has it all together,
but because she refuses to give up on the people she loves.

She’ll fall apart in the bathroom, wipe her face, and go back to caring for everyone else like nothing happened.
She’ll carry the weight of the world on her shoulders, and still be the one who remembers everyone’s appointments, everyone’s favorites, everyone’s needs.

She’ll break down, quietly, where no one can see…
and she’ll still get up the next morning and try again.

Moms don’t get enough credit for the strength it takes to keep going while healing at the same time.
For the way we push through exhaustion, heartbreak, overwhelm, and still choose love over and over.

If you’re that mom right now, I hope you hear this:
You’re not weak for feeling tired.
You’re not dramatic for being overwhelmed.
You’re human.
And you’re doing so much better than you think.
