"The Long Riders" (1980)
The origins, exploits and the ultimate fate of the Jesse James gang is told in a sympathetic portrayal of the bank robbers made up of brothers who begin their legendary bank raids because of revenge.
A very underrated western and a unique one at that, starring four sets of brothers as four sets of brothers.
With the Keach's as the James', the Carradine's as the Younger's, the Quaid's as the Miller's and the Guest's as the Ford's. After a slow building first 30 minutes this one really kicks into gear and along with a gripping story you get some great violent action sequences which you've come to expect from most of Walter Hill movies.
For some reason or another this another of those westerns you just don't hear people talk about very much anymore and I'm not sure why as this is a very good movie.
