When I heard that Shannen would no longer continue in Charmed, I really felt a sense of loss. Prue Halliwell is not just the eldest sister – she is the soul of the first episodes, a strong, decisive but also extremely warm person. Looking back at Prue's journey, people see a character full of depth and influence, not only for her sisters in the show, but also for the audience – who grew up with the image of the three sisters fighting together.

Shannen's departure left a void that is difficult to fill. Although the series continues and the other characters develop in their own ways, for me, the first seasons always have a special color – where Prue, Piper and Phoebe stand side by side in the first days of discovering their powers.

Every time I rewatch the old episodes, my heart skips a beat. Even though I understand that every journey has an end, I will always thank Shannen for what she brought to the role and to a generation of viewers who love Charmed."
