Larry Hagman and Barbara Bel Geddes

Larry Hagman and Barbara Bel Geddes had a strong professional relationship on Dallas. Hagman admired Bel Geddes, calling her the "rock of Dallas" and the "glue that held it together." He chose the show partly to work with her, respecting her talent and presence. Though their characters were mother and son on screen, their real-life bond was built on mutual respect and admiration. However, in later years, their relationship reportedly cooled due to behind-the-scenes tensions, but their impact on the show remains iconic.
