Some days I play, some days I say no

Some days I play, some days I say no.

Some days I cry behind a door, just trying to breathe for a minute.
Some days the dishes don’t get done, the laundry wins, and the to-do list stays untouched.

And on all of those days… I am still a good mom.

Even when I lose my patience.
Even when I need a break.
Even when the house is chaos and I feel like I’m barely holding it together.

Being a good mom doesn’t mean being perfect.
It means loving your kids through the mess.
It means showing up, even when you’re running on empty.
It means holding space for your own feelings while carrying theirs.

You are still a good mom.
Even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Especially when it doesn’t feel like it.
You are.
