 Having kids with big age gaps is its own kind of beautiful.

One minute you’re packing a lunchbox for a kid who’s suddenly too cool for hugs, and the next you’re rocking a baby who thinks you hung the moon. Your days become this strange mix of teenage attitudes and toddler giggles… eye rolls in the hallway and tiny hands reaching for you before nap time.

And sometimes it’s lonely.
