None of us

None of us step into motherhood thinking,

“I can’t wait to lose my patience today.”

None of us dream about snapping at the people we love most.
But it happens.

Because motherhood is beautiful.
And it’s also exhausting.
It stretches you in ways you never knew were possible.
Some days, you give and give until there’s nothing left.

And then, you crack.
You raise your voice.
You say something you wish you could take back.
You see the look in their eyes and your heart sinks.

But hear me
That doesn’t make you a bad mom.
That makes you human.
A human who is trying.
A human who loves her kids so much that the guilt eats her alive when patience runs out.

So tonight kiss them goodnight.
Let them hear you say “I love you.”
Let them feel it in the way you hold them, even after a hard day.

Because tomorrow is a new day.
Tomorrow is another chance to show them what unconditional love looks like.
Not perfect love.
Not flawless patience.
But real, messy, human love.

And that’s the kind of love that sticks.
