THE QUIET MAN
"THE QUIET MAN" (1952)
MY THOUGHTS:
There are many people who consider this to be the "quintessential" Irish film. I'm not sure if I totally agree with that, but I do like it an awful lot ...and... there is an awful lot about it to like! The cast is wonderful. Filming in Ireland made a difference and added to the movie's overall beauty. The story line is interesting, and the dialogue is well-written and often times witty. It is more than worth the watch and it is a true classic.
