Glamour - and a gun! Don't mess with Beverly, she knows how to use that thing! Here's a striking publicity photo of Beverly from her 1957 television series DECOY. DECOY was an intriguing show that gave Beverly the opportunity to play various character types since she worked for the New York City Police Department as undercover officer Casey Jones. One week she might pose as a debutante, the next week a call girl, a nurse or a drug addict. For an actress, it was a dream role and Beverly loved it! It was hard work - filming often went into the late evening hours but Beverly thrived on the experience. The series was shot entirely in New York City which was another bonus for this California girl! Definitely a highlight in her long and varied career!
