THE TOWER OF LONDON RAVENS . It is not known when the ravens first came to the Tower of London, but their presence there is surrounded by myth and legend. Legend says, that six ravens must be present at the Tower of London at all times, otherwise the kingdom and the tower will fall. Because of this, to this day, you will always find six ravens going about their business in the Tower's grounds. During the 17th century the Royal Observatory was situated at the Tower, and the story goes that the ravens were causing so much mischief, that they were disrupting the observations. King Charles II was very superstitious, and so fearing the legend's warning, he decreed that the ravens should stay, and that the observatory would have to move elsewhere. On the 19th May 1536, Anne Boleyn was the first woman to suffer death by bEheading for treason. We now know Anne was exEcuted at the side of the entrance to the Waterloo Barracks, but she still remains one of the famous five. Anne would be followed by four other women: Margaret Pole the Countess of Salisbury (1541), Catherine Howard (1542), Jane- Viscountess Rochford (1542) Lady Jane Grey (1554). Written on the monument, there is a sad and poignant poem: Gentle visitor pause awhile, Where you stand, death cut away the light of many days. Lief mens, het thema liefde is al een tijdje helder in beeld. Wat is jouw waarheid over liefde en welke vormen van liefde ken je maar zijn niet perse voedend voor jou (geweest)? Je merkt dat je teruggaat in de tijd met de mensen die je lief hebt en lief hebt gehad. Intense dromen kunnen de dingen weer tot leven wekken en gevoelens naar de oppervlakte brengen en kunnen emoties van boosheid, schaamte, schuld en spijt in uitvergrote versie aan je tonen. Maar ook gevoelens van diepe liefde. Niet de versie van ik hou van jou en ik zet mezelf aan de kant, maar de versie ik hou van mij EN van alles om me heen. Een hele mooie nieuwe opening naar en van jouw hart. In relatie tot de ander ligt de blauwdruk in jouw verleden. Wat ken je? Wat heb je als normaal gevonden? Hoe is er met jou omgegaan en wat heb jij "normaal" gevonden uit die tijd wat zich blijft herhalen? Vaak is het zo dat, wanneer je uit een basis komt waarin de ander vrij consumerend is geweest en zichzelf boven jou heeft...

  No offense, but as a mom I don’t need unsolicited advice about older children from someone who hasn’t raised them yet. Because parenting a toddler and parenting a teen are two entirely different worlds. Different stakes. Different fears. Different kinds of tired. You can be a great mom. You can be doing an amazing job right where you are. And still not have lived the seasons I’m standing in. This isn’t about hierarchy or superiority. It’s about experience. I don’t correct a mom in the newborn fog because I once held a newborn. I remember how little sleep rewires your brain. How survival comes first. How advice feels like noise. So I’ll offer support when it’s asked for. Perspective when it’s welcomed. And humility about the chapters I haven’t reached yet. Motherhood is long. Wide. Layered. We don’t all need to speak on every season to be worthy of being heard in our own.

De stroming laat je meer en meer naar binnen gaan. er is ook een behoefte om meer naar binnen te gaan om daar jouw thuis te vinden zoals je hem nog niet eerder gevoeld hebt. Lange tijd heb jij je alles behalve thuis gevoeld. Heb je een thuis gezocht. Heb je gedacht dat je een thuis had. Heb je een diep verlangen gehad naar een thuis. En daarom kon je niet anders dan weg bewegen van alles wat je dacht wat met thuis te maken had om het allemaal vanuit een nieuw perspectief te zien. En het mooie is, lief mens, ook dat is allemaal maar tijdelijk. Want als je 1 ding heel erg hebt ervaren de afgelopen periode, is dat niets lijkt wat het is en dat geen enkele beslissing op dat moment werkelijk blijvend is. Heel erg meegaan met het leven betekent geen vaste conclusies trekken van wat je wilt en niet wilt. Dat wat jou altijd verteld is, dat jij jouw richting zou moeten weten of bepalen is steeds meer aan het afbrokkelen. Geen enkele dag is het zelfde. Je voelt je geen enkele dag hetzelfde en oo...

Matilda of Boulogne was a medieval queen consort of England, who lived from around 1105 to 1152. She was the wife of King Stephen, who reigned from 1135 to 1154, and was the mother of their son, Eustace IV, who was intended to succeed his father as king but died before he could do so.
