Never be afraid to apologize to your children

Never be afraid to apologize to your children.

It doesn’t make you weak.
It doesn’t make you less of a parent.

It shows them what accountability looks like.
It shows them love that’s bigger than your ego.

Be the parent who cares more about making things right than needing to be right.
Be the parent who can sit down on the edge of the bed, breathe through the pride, and say,
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have handled it that way.”

Kids remember that.
They learn from that.
They feel safe with a parent who can own their mistakes and grow from them.

That’s the kind of parent who changes everything.
